REUNIÓN SANGLAS + LOIS. LA CASA DEL HUMO 12/08/2017 SANGLAS MEETING + LOIS. THE HOUSE OF THE SMOKE

Teníamos un día muy completo por delante... Primero nos dirigimos a Pola de Laviana donde pudimos admirar estas estupendas motos.

We had a very busy day ahead... First, we headed to Pola de Laviana where we could admire those great machines

El sol brillaba como es debido y la temperatura era excelente

The sun was shining properly and the temperaexcellent excelent

Es momento de dejar la reunión y comenzar nuestra ruta. Subimos Tarna cuya reparación está casi terminada

It is time to left the meeting and begins our route. We went through the Tarna pass which is almost completed in its repair

Es una delicia disfrutar de la comida con estas vistas.

It is amazing to enjoy your lunch as you look at this scenery

Poco después llegamos a Lois

Soon after we arrived at Lois

Un bonito pueblo del que nunca te cansas

A beautiful village which you will never be tired of

Es momento para una buena taza de café y un poco de relax

Time for a nice cup of coffee and a little moment of relax

Y entonces tuvimos la suerte de concocer a la guía local. Ella amablemente nos mostró la magnífica iglesia.

And then we were fortunate enough to meet the local guide. She gently showed us the magnificent church

Tal como nos comentó, una curiosidad de esta iglesia es la representación de cuatro mujeres.

As she told us, it is a very curious characteristic of this church the images of four women

Otra curiosidad es este púlpito. A pesar que parece mármol es piedra pulida.

Another interesting thing is this pulpit. Even though it looks like marble it is, in fact, polished stone

Después nos llevó a la Casa del Humo

Then she took us to the House of the Smoke

Una casa tradicional restaurada

Allí pudimos admirar esta magnifica maqueta de la iglesia

There we could admire this outstanding model of the church

Tenía incluso el interior

It has reproduced even its interior

La casa estuvo habitada hasta los años 90

The house has been inhabited till 1990's

No tenía chimenea, por tanto el techo está cubierto de una capa negra y pegajosa

It had no chimney, therefore all the ceiling is covered with a sticky layer of black material

Una vida dura sin duda

A very hard life indeed

Finalmente nos fuimos a dar un paseo buscando las casas de los nobles

Finally, we went for a stroll to look for the many Nobles' Houses

Es hora de regresar.. Cerca de Lois encontramos este bonito rincón

Now it is time to come back home... Near Lois, we found this beautiful corner

Para completar nuestra ruta escogimos el puerto de San Isidro.. Fue un día perfecto.

To complete the route we choose the San Isidro pass... It was a perfect day
